James Fridman is a graphic artist and Photoshop whiz who has become famous for taking requests to alter photos on Twitter and other social media sites. He has millions of followers across all of his sites. His alterations are always to the requested specifications, but usually aren’t exactly what the person who requested the changes had in mind. One thing is certain, though. The results are always hilarious.
Take this recent photo for instance. The kid posing in the photo looks like he just got his driver’s license, and asks James to make him look cooler. James obliges – by giving him a giant fan to keep cool.
He’s famous for replying with one-liners such as “You got it” or “Sure.” Often, the pictures that he produces poke fun at people’s vanity or society’s desire for perfection. Sometimes, like this picture, they’re more pointed.
James has been featured in various publications such as Cosmopolitan, Buzzfeed, DailyMail, Mashable, Huffington Post and many more, with many doing regular features on his work.
This guy made a wardrobe choice he later regretted when he went to a concert with his family and asked for James’ help fixing the picture. James definitely took the attention off of his shorts.
This spring he had a contest that he dubbed “Show Your Creative Side” on his Twitter page. James basically turned the tables on his followers and invited them to try their hands at Photoshopping some submissions he had received. It was narrowed down to three, and I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly with the winner.
This is the original picture, asking James to make him look like a model and change him from working in the garden to somewhere more exotic.
Here’s the Photoshopped masterpiece. No longer in the garden? Check. Exotic locale? Check. What more could he possibly want?
